The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is one of the nation’s largest youth employment programs, providing the best career exploration opportunities to NYC youth between the ages of 14 and 24 and connecting them to paid work experiences each summer.

Eligibility Criteria for SYEP Program

• Young people must be between 14 to 24 years of age.
• Must be a resident of one of the five NYC boroughs.

Application Requirements

To apply for the 2024 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) application, you will need to meet certain eligibility requirements.

• The income of a young family must be 200% or less.
• The SYEP application requires an average GPA of 3.2.
• Personal information and address (permanent resident card)
