(Ohio): The Hispanic Fund is an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation of Lorain County. The organization is now accepting applications to provide grants to all non-profit organizations and community partners to improve and promote socioeconomic and educational chances within the Hispanic community. A volunteer advisory board encourages the establishment of new and the augmentation of existing, endowment funds to help the Yearly grants and scholarships that fulfill the mission.

Hispanic Fund Grant Program

Grants are awarded to improve the quality of life for Hispanic citizens of Lorain County, with an interest in the most needy.

The Hispanic Fund grant program provides grants to non-profit organizations and community members whose projects provide or work to improve:

  1. Citizen Empowerment Within the Hispanic Community
  2. Neighborhood revitalization/environmental problems within the Hispanic community
  3. Public safety, education, and crime and violence prevention within the Hispanic community
  4. Collaborative solutions or new approaches to a problem within the Hispanic community
  5. Projects and programs that address the root causes of social ills within the Hispanic community
  6. Projects or programs that positively impact Hispanic educational achievement in public or higher education

The Hispanic Fund Grant Program Online Application begins accepting applications on April 30th, and the application deadline is May 31st. Once the application process is over, the board’s decision will be out in August.
