2023 Summer Enrichment Grant Program Details
Funding There is two types of grants required to be awarded to eligible summer enrichment providers. which are like this.
Grants to local governments and school districts that provide summer enrichment programs for socially and economically disadvantaged (SED) youth whose annual family income is less than 80% of the area median income. and second, COVID-affected local nonprofit 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) tax-exempt organizations and local for-profit small businesses (25 or fewer full-time employees) are providers of summer enrichment programming to SED students will receive direct grant aid.

Each program site is eligible for a different amount depending on the number of program slots at that location as you can see in the table below.

Eligibility Requirements for Summer Enrichment Grant Program
1. The program is located in San Mateo County and serves San Mateo County youth.
2. The program will operate in the summer of 2023.
3. The program will provide a minimum of 20 days of programming for at least 4 hours per day through the summer of 2023.

5. Provide self-verification of compliance with current licensing, health and safety, and background check requirements of related programs.
6. For City and School District Programs: Must primarily serve socially and economically disadvantaged youth.
7. If a nonprofit: you must have experienced negative economic impacts due to the COVID-19 pandemic and must provide summer enrichment programs for SED youth.
8. If a local small business:
