The primary goal of this program is to provide grants to Agricultural Innovation Centers, which will provide agricultural producers with technical assistance in marketing value-added agricultural products. This program contributes to Rural Development’s (RD) mission of improving the quality of life for rural Americans by directing resources to those who need them the most.
What is the Eligibility Requirement?
All the eligible applicants have to keep in mind the eligibility criteria given below.
- Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status with the IRS other than institutions of higher education
- state governments
- small businesses
- county governments
- private institutions of higher education
- Native American Tribal Governments (federally recognized)
- for-profit organizations other than small businesses
- Other than institutions of higher education, nonprofits do not have 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.
- city or township governments
- Public and state-controlled institutions of higher education
