Entergy assistance application Louisiana. To reduce high energy bills, Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans have partnered with local agencies to provide bill payment assistance to eligible residential customers.
Entergy shareholders will donate $1.5 million to eligible Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans residential customers; The money, in the form of bill credits, is released on a first-come, first-served basis. The company aims to offer credit to help people pay higher-than-usual bills due to this summer’s record-setting heat.
This grant contribution includes $900,000 to United Way partners and an additional $100,000 to the Power to Care Fund, administered by The Salvation Army.
Eligible Entergy New Orleans residential customers will be provided $500,000 in bill relief assistance, including $400,000 to the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans and an additional $100,000 to the Power to Care Fund administered by the New Orleans Council on Aging.

Eligiblity Criteria:
To qualify for Entergy Bill assistance, you must have a gross household income up to 250% of the federal poverty guidelines, which is equivalent to $75,000 for a family of four.
