Texas Food & Wine Alliance 2024 Grant Application

The 2024 Texas Food & Wine Alliance Grants application: Applications are now open for the 12th Annual Texas Food & Wine Alliance Culinary Innovation Grants, which will award $75,000 in grants to selected organizations or individuals for the objective of culinary innovation that contributes to Texas communities.

2024 Texas Food & Wine Alliance Grant

Texas Food & Wine Alliance grant application has been open from January 17, 2024, through February 4, 2024. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for the TFWA Grant. All applications must be digitally received by midnight on February 4, 2024.

Please note that any TFWA application received after the prescribed deadline will not be accepted. Current referral letters written in 2024 are required. If all three referral letters are not included or are not current, the application will not be considered.

  • If you have previously applied for a TFWA grant and were not funded, you can again apply for the 2024 Texas Food & Wine Alliance Grant.
  • If you have previously applied and been funded, then you can reapply for a new project unrelated to the original project that was funded.
  • If you are applying for grant funding to help your operating budget, the applicant or individuals must show that the business is already running, and supporting documents must show that the business is sustainable.

Grant Fund

There are $80,000 in grants available through the TFWA Grant Program for $45,000 in Austin, $15,000 in San Antonio & $20,000 in Texas At-Large.

Texas Food & Wine Alliance Grant Eligibility

  • Must be a food and beverage artisan, maker, or culinary professional or represent a culinary/food-focused non-profit organization serving Texas communities.
  • Grant applicants competing for city-specific grants must be located in the following counties:
    • Austin grants: Bastrop, Blanco, Burleson, Burnet, Caldwell, Gillespie, Grimes, Hays, Kerr, Lampasas, Lee, Llano, Mason, Travis, or Williamson
    • San Antonio grants: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, and Wilson
  • You must demonstrate how the grant will be used for culinary innovation in their respective sectors (including the wine, beer, spirits, and food industries).
  • You must demonstrate community giveback or support the initiative will have on the community.
  • Represent fiduciary responsibility and transparency
  • You need to follow the reporting and accountability guidelines
  • If asked, agree to participate in PR initiatives to promote TFWA and the grant program.
  • Agree to TFWA website presence and mutual promotion of TFWA and grant program
  • Must provide three written reference letters written and dated in 2024 explaining why an organization or individual should receive a TFWA grant. The letter should detail the reference’s relationship with the organization.

  • Scroll down and click on Apply Now Button.
  • Read the Given description and check the eligibility criteria.
  • Once you are eligible, Fill out the Grant Application form.
  • Upload Thress Required Reference Letters.
  • Complete your signature.
  • Finally, Submit the Form.
